SCOVIE AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED (October 2001 - Sherman Oaks, CA) d’Oni Enterprises' products have once again achieved highest honors in the country's largest specialty sauce and condiment contest, continuing its streak of earning a place among the top award winners in each contest it has entered since the company's founding. d’Oni's Bold as Love Honey-Habanero Mustard was honored for the second year in a row, earning second place in the mustard category of the 2002 Scovie Awards. In its fifth year, the Scovie Awards are recognized as the preeminent product competition in the fiery foods and barbecue industry. Approximately 531 entries were submitted for review by a variety of national and international industry leaders. In a unique circumstance, d’Oni Enterprises was also honored with a second place award in the Grilling Sauces category for its brand new product, VIBE, which will not reach the consumer marketplace until its official launch at the 2002 Fiery Foods Show, to be held in Albuquerque, NM next March.
